Black Limited Trueno

Spotted this in sydney today for sale.
Its not in the best condition some rust here and there but at least ive seen on for real!!

and they just all black unlike the others and seats have apex stiched in them and centre light on the rear says black limited.

wow well if thats all, buy a trueno for 10k, very nice respray black for 3k, 0.5k for a few extra custom made bits/coverings and youve saved $16500! :P

I don't get it... why would anyone want one... let alone one for 30K? There is nothing good about it, it's black and its got some fancy stitching? I would understand if the thing looked beautiful, like a mustang or corvette, shit cars but at least they're pretty. Lets face it truenos are awfully fugly and disproportionate, levins on the other hand look half decent.

For 30K i'd get an XR6 turbo, twice as quick, would handle better, comfy and 2 to 3 million times better looking :P

sorry if it goes a bit off topic to this post but i love the look oftruenos,80's sports cars are by far the best lookin. also this car is a bit overpriced, fair enough if it had some super engine but for it to be sprayed black and i sticker down the side it's a bit steep

Yep you're right about the first part, "they think what the fuck is that??" Looks like a tonne of crap fell on the front end and crushed it flat... and when the pop up lights flick up, you look at it and think... damn thats one frightened looking frog. :P If Tak had driven a levin in ID, everyone would be crapping on bout how nice the levin is and how ugly the trueno looks, lol... no offence.

the main reason why there was a pop up headlights trueno was that it was made in the 80's and pop up healights was the "shit" in the world of sport cars, thus created a thing called the ae86 trueno..

in my experience of finding black limited's on auctions and shit the usual going rate for a mint fully restored and original one is around 20k privately, but if a workshop does it like carland86.com prices start at 30-40k. personally i would think about paying 20k for a private clean black limited as i think it will hold its value at that mark but anything higher and i don't think anyone will pay that for a 25 year old corolla
