bigport ecu on small port engine

bigport ecu on samll port engine is this possible? i brought a ecu was told it was for smallport but its bigport <_< just want to know if i can use it or waste some more money on a smallport one

Hahaha, I've just been working out how to undo this to my motor and get it running on the proper loom and ecu.

My smallport motor was running AE82 big port dizzy, bigport injectors (including cold start) a bigport rear water outlet, bigport leads and valley cover and I think that was all. I checked the timing belt and it lined up with the correct marks so I'm pretty certain the cam timing is correct for both.
