Hello everyone! I have an 1986 Trueno sr-5 (I'm in the states), with a 4ac motor in it. All I can tell is that it has a hydraulic clutch (I heard somewhere they put cable operated clutches in these), and I was hoping someone here could tell me which transmission I have in it (I'm hoping for a t-50, which would make my swap a bit more convenient, yes?)
Thanks for the help guys/gals. :teehee:

That's GREAT news. :D :D
That will make my swap that much cheaper. ^_^
Thank you very much for the apt reply.
OK, another question....Because my car is a 86, do I have to use a motor that was in an 86 car? Or will I be able to use, say, a 20v 91-98 silvertop with no problem?

Yes you can use the 20v it has been done many times but you need a bit of custom gear to make it work in rwd have a look at SamQ s tech article on the water relocation business. Just bear in mind that there other ways of doing it.
