thanks in advance

i was driving my car on monday and i had a near empty tank and on a couple of corners i had a bit of a surging problem so i filled up and when i was leaving the petrol station and gave it abit the wierdest thing happen, my ge didn't let me rev past 4500 rpm. it would hit 4500 and the needle just hits 4500 and shoots down to 4000rpm.

stupid question but is there anyway that the rev limiter can reset itself??

does anyone no wats going on with my engine??

check ecu error codes. If nothing comes up, replace fuel filter and check fuel pump.

yeah thats what happen to my car and it was my fuel pump,
the pump sucks up all the shit in your tank, if its the pump
your better off cleaning the tank and flushing the lines

yeah that might b it coz i had a pretty low tank and i thought it was just surging problem when it wasn't going that well when i went around a corner.

well i hope you don't need a new pump but all it took was my old rusty tank to stuff a new walbro
every morin my car would be fine for about 20mins until it sucked the rust up then it wouls start surging, so you could try that and if it does that you know theres shit in your tank and its getting in your pump
