ae86 seat into ae71?

just wondering if any1 knows if the AE86 seat and rail bolts into the ae71?

sure it does I have done it, the difference I found was that the edge of the seat lightly rubs the interor trim at the bottom when before it didnt

heaps better position to, lower and can go further back, the bolt closest to the tunnel doesnt fit in though as far as i am aware having had 2 mates do it, T18 seats are a direct bolt in replacement and give the same results

yeah so true I should of mentioned that. The sprinter seats are roughly 20mm lower down and for the first little while it would be an odd feeling. I my car because of my sunroof I actually lowered my stock seats more before upgrading.

One bolt hole doesn't line up.

It could be either the passenger side front or passenger side rear. Ive had ae86 rails where they have been slightly different. Weird.

I have heard that before too but neither me or my friend ever had a problem

edit: it was a while ago so maybe I forgot that I took a file out and elongated one of the holes??
