Not very good shot, but you get the idea.

Instead of forking out the dollars for the JDM foggies you could use the inner lights off an R31 Skyline, Should be able to pick a pair up from the wreckers for around $50.
If you aim them right you will have decent high beams too.
I suppose it depends if you want the look of the foggie or better vision.

hmmm so they're separate lights/relays on the early r31's? has anyone wired these up as foggies/extra lights on ae86?

i can remember a SA guy (andy??) with non-original foggies, and i think kane had them for a while too did they use r31 lights?

Yeah dude, just run the 31 foggies, cheap to buy and just run a relay like I did on mine.

It should look cool

so are they a better high beam light than ae86 and worth the hassle? bcos ive been having trouble finding "driving" lights with the right orientation and size

Its just a series 1 R31 skyline, very common.

technically I believe it was series 1 and 2, you can easily tell the difference, the series 3 have completely different headlights and no seperate light like the 1/2

if its driving light you want, just pay $150 and get 4/6000k HID's....
best money you'll spend.
