Pretty fucken cool! its good to see car manufacturers thinking outside the square. I didn't watch the video but I read a short article on the net somewhere and apparently the body is just a fram with that material stretched over it. And when the headlights aren't in use that part of the frame changes and covers them so it gives it a clean look as if they were never there. Same thing goes with a lot of the stuff in the interior etc. I just wonder how much of a pain in the ass it would be if instead of getting a dent, you get a rip in the fabric. Ooh I wonder how much it would cost and how much of a pain in the ass it would be replace the fabric section that covers the entire car!!

Wow! That's seriously cool. I love how the car has some human qualities about it. It's good to see car / industrial designers thinking outside the square in terms of materials and design.

wasn't sold by the pics, but the video is awesome.

very original. i like how he asked why we need panels... when really all they add to a rigid spaceframe chassis is weight.

its pretty damn clever. mind you longevity of fabric really comes into play, and one delinquent with a pocket knife could turn your bmw into something resembling a 2nd hand pinata....

still, full marks for originality. love the 'organic' effect of the moving rear wing profile and of course headlamp 'blink'.

I can imagine them bombing around after a few years covered in duct tape patches. Cool!

It's certainly an interesting concept, though it draws on old technology.
