I have come to the point where I have all the goodies to put my engine together. After spending thousands on the head, I don't want to run it for 1000k's and kaboom! I have all the gaskets and studs for it, just want to know what is the going rate to just put it all together? What have people paid in the past??

All the rest is pretty much stick on jobs like t3 quad adaptor, adj. cam pulleys, lightweight pulleys etc.

I really don't know how much its going to cost and just want to know a price before I start ringing around, so I have some idea.

Thanks

As above, depends if you want it assembled with 'timing' and a few other things but I think for assembly prices, I wouldn't even bother taking the risk as you suggested yourself.

if its just assembly it should be around 300 to 600 if u supply everything needed as they are only doing the labor
be usre to get quotes from a range of places mainly ones that specialise in engine building
