Tough, 4 doors and AE86s are mutually exclusive.

'sif you would want to haul your family around in an AE86, and 'sif they would want to be hauled around in one.

i dare say its doable but it would look pretty terrible

would like to see pics of the S13

hard to believe a decent job would only cost $3500

the $3500 you'd pay to do the door conversion would buy you an SV11 camry which i'm sure the missus and kids would rather.

2 cars always

1 is hers its the family bus, i rarely use it unless i really need the boot space, even now i find i can remove the passenger seat in my car and i can cart more parts/shit haha!

but yeah just run 2 cars dude, you also won't have to compromise with your modifications to suit carrying kiddies

I've just converted a wagon to a ute, and that was alot of work... paying a workshop to do it most people come out a minimum 8-10k out of pocket for a semi reasonable job.

How you can make custom doors, new pillar's, locks, hinge's, handles, paint, winder's etc and keep everything looking factory. Retain the existing rigidity and crash protection, which in my case required my to add a hell of alot of steel to prove everything was stronger than factory and to code for 3500 is beyond me, paying for labour that 3500 would barely cover all the custom parts needed. would love some photo's and a bit more info on this s13. Knowing the right people and having the right skills nothing is impossible though!

4 door s13= a31 cefiro
4 door ae86 = ke70/ae71
Why go to all the effort when there is something you need already available without modding anything?
Sure a ke70 doesnt look like a ae86, but its pretty much the same car, from a chassis point of veiw
