Tailshafts ADM vs. JDM

I have an ADM AE86 with 4A-GE, T-50 & T-series diff.

My mechanic wants to know if the centre bearing carrier for ADM & JDM tailshafts are the same?

Hi,

Yes they should be, the front half of the tailshafts are identical in every way, however some people on the forum , i'm looking at you) have had troubles when sourcing the right center bearing. Perhaps PM him if this is your woe.

yes i ahve one of each in my garage and they are identical. however i have issues putting 'new' centrebearings into my car as the bolts to the chassis are wider than the bearing allows. so just drill out the new centre bearing by 3mm each side
