Hi Everyone

I have taken my front suspension assembly off and was wondering what was the best way to remove my power steering arms. They are stuck on the bolts pretty tight. Everything is off the car. I don't want to lay into them with a hammer incase I bend them or something.

I remember seeing someone make a thread about this very question and searched for it but could not find.

Any help would be great.

undo the ball joint bolt and then use a balljoint seperator ;)

hit the side of them with a decent weight hammer.

will pop off after a couple of hard hits

The best method, smack em side on bloody hard a few times

further more, leave the crown nut on, but unthread it almost all the way so the nut is at the top of the thread, so that if you miss the steer arm, you don't damage the thread on the ball joint.

if you've got a pulley puller it will do the trick very easily + no potential for damaged threads!

add some penetrating oil long time before
