Hey all. I havent had this SR running before as ive just put it into my KE... and i'm pretty sure ive wired everything correcttly and it still wont start.

It has compression,
spark,
power to the coil,
power to injectors,
its got fuel in the rail and the injectors are pulsing while cranking.

So I'm kinda stumped as to what it could be. I don't think its a bad ECU since ive got spark and injector pulsing... if the ecu was cooked i woulnt have this.

any suggestions?

crank angle sensor? cam angle sensor?, not too sure what these run, af meter, it would still run though, ummmm timing? jsut a quick off the top of my head, definately getting fuel into the rail you say so that oss the list... argh hmmm thats all I can think of for now

does it crank slow or fast?

cam timing and ignition timing? it might be sparking, but perhaps ist to far advanced or retarded.

if there is fuel, spark adn comp you should get some sort of pop or bang from the intake or exhaust. if your not getting that then there is no spark when cranking.....

have you tried leaving the ignition on and bridging the starter, i had the same problem with a 4age. it would only start if you bridged the starter to crank. it wouldn't start if you used the key. some ecus require a crank signal to start, does it have this?
