spring rate will have nothing to do with weather it scrapes or not
the size and offset of the wheels will.
but i guess a stiffer spring will allow for less movement and "reduce" srubbing if your wheels are that close...
best off having NO scubbing, so you can throw your car around, dig it in around corners, and not have to worry about anything......
for reference 15x7 +10?? offset seems to be about the limit with no scrubbing and relatively low. anything more and your gonna need to get some guard flaring action happening to ensure they stay guard free...
just realised you were asking about what spring rate
front/rear very general guidlines...
6kg/4kg= good daily driver car for the quality australian roads, good for grip too
7kg/5kg=bit more drift happy, getting uncomfortable for the bumps..
8kg/6kg= super hektic drift setup batman
note: there is alot more to setting up car than putting in stiff springs, but that gives you an idea, before you buy maybe get a ride in someones car who you think has the setup your after, and go from there..
