what is available for aftermaket oil coolers?
I'm just after oil cooler, lines and sandwitch plate
nothing super large just to suite 4age jdm big port!

I got mine from ebay 13row with all the goodies and oil relocator for 220

my brother used rubber lines with an oil cooler that came off an ae82 twincam

be very careful with that ebay stuff, some of those china braided lines are crap, they don't like the heat nor the pressure.

Mines all braided and works a treat... i would reccomend anyone to use the type i bought.. been through thrashing/dragging/skids and al has the oil relocator ports for mech gauges

i would use the ae82 oil cooler but what to do bout sandwitch plate etc?
coz i don't have the oil return to the sump

as a possibility ... GZE sandwhich plate and GZE sump (has return) ..... only downside with that is that its 'low pressure', so it really doesn't cool all that much oil very quickly
or if you can take off the sump, get someone to weld a bung on, 10 minute job, then just use an EARL's/ebay sandwhich plate, easy!
i must say thankyou to reecegze, if i didnt check this i wouldn't have looked on ebay and found one going for dirt cheap, winner :2thumbs:

I had a Just Jap kit and had problems with the core separting and leaking, I also had sandwich
plate issues aswell, This was from about 3 years back so I think there design may have improved.
I am a big fan of not using a relocator unless it is a bastard to get to ie, SR20 as they are a hassle
to mount well and the braided line they provide in the kits is always way too long.

ae82 oilcoolers are a good budget upgrade.
i run one on my trueno and cant complain. as u said nothing super large, this will easily do the job.

i have one forsale if your interested off an ae82 twincam (the oil cooler but not the rest)
