Hi Guys,
Just need a quick hand. I was pretty confident that my Ae86 t50 gearbox and crossmember would bolt into my AE71, But on trying to fit it, Its too narrow, and the bolt holes don't line up. What gearbox crossmember do I need? AE71 t50 or can I use one off the KE70 manual box???
Cheers in advance!

used AE86 item a few times with no hassle, you trying the front or rear bolt holes? KE70 chassis accepts the front section of the x member and has no provision for the rear ones.
AE71 item was in my 86 so it shows the bolt hole spacing is the same
was yours originally auto? EDIT: forgot my white one was auto first and it took an 86 x member.

Not sure If it was originally auto, But I know it had 5 speed in it. I could get the drivers side front bolt in, but thats about it, The 86 crossmember seemed to be too narrow for the 71 tunnel. Wierd. Ill have another crack tomorrow.
