I put some t3 ones in my ae71 today..

i just pulled the old top off and it goes on top of the hat part that hold the spring..

mine has a collar that went between camber plate and top hat

hope that helps

not really hard to do just need the right tools

the hard part is the strut top bolt if you put a socket/ratchet on it the shock will just spin. so you will need a rattle gun, rattle gun the bolt loose take off hat, put chamber hat on tighten bolt put it strut back in

put mine in yesterday. half hour job including taking struts in and out. if your rattle gun has enough torque you don't have to hold anything it will just undo the nut straight away. i use cusco tops and there was a little spacer they provided that i had to put in underneath the camber top so it doesnt bottom out

doyou have to compress the springs? cause i think my shocks are gonna be short stroke and they will be keeping the springs captive??

or undo it all while the car is on the ground, then slowly jack the car up off the springs until it all free. Then bolt in you strut tops, put you springs on the struts and slowly lower the car off the jack while lining the shock up with the strut top!!
I mean lets face it spring compressors just aren't ghetto enough!!
