4ac Exhaust sizing

Quick question guys,
What (if anything other than stock!) size exhaust is everyone running on their 4ac in their sprinter or ae71?
I keep blowing the welds/muffler keeps cracking on mine so soon, it's going to be time to just get a new exhaust made up. I can easily work out how loud i want it, just trying to guage size. Am thinking 2.25", any differentiation from that?

Just get another stock system for nothing (I have 3 if you want one), the real restrictions are in the exhaust headers. You'll have to get extractors or something if you want any real improvement.

Not doing it for a power increase, simply just considering it as i reckon the same thing will happen to another stock one.
Cheers for the offer too Golberg, would take you up on that but postage wouldn't be worth it.
