Has anyone pulled one out, if they have how hard is it and whats a quick run through?
I'm looking at pulling it out and modifying the in and outlets so i can run the hoses to them from a different location, Currently my heater is un hooked up as my SR is so far back its almost touching the firewall... not a lot of room at all!

Not hard at all.. Theres just one tricky bolt up the top other wise not too bad.
Before you mod a ke70 core check out if the ae71 is any better they are on different angles

wouldn't happen to have a pic of one would you mate?
either way, with the core, what needs to be removed in order to get to it?
What i need to do, is eliminate the current position of the in and outlet behind the engine, i was going to run some heater hose throtgh where the air con pipes would go and then try and route them into the core somehow from inside the car. Its my only option really.

y don't you just run some copper hard lines behind the block up near the top where there is enough room and just use so short rubber bends or whatever to join to the core and the heater hoses off the block? I ran rubber hoses on mine but they do touch, I'm planning on running the copper lines later down the track

sounds like a really smart idea to me, I might get my friend to do that on his 20V lancer
