Too true - grow up Sonny :P

Nah too little a market for smaller rims (doof doof bru), so I reckon you're luck they are making that many. They'll sell though, and might convince them to make some more = win.

I'd be curious too, I've had the Dragons for a year now and they are excellent, so I'd be interested in seeing what sort of difference there is.

I did notice the tread is lower than I thought on my tyres though... :D

I got 195/50/15s on the front , very impressed, nowhere near as noisy as the GIII'sand steering feels much nicer.
As for no good 13" available. I picked up some GIII's 205/60/13s a few days ago, there is still quite a few gettin round. Just go straight to a bridgestone shopfront and they can check on the interstate surplus. I got 1 ordered in from S.A and one from W.A.
I hope adrenalin comes out in 13s tho

sent my local bridgstone an email (Reynella) this is their response.

"Need to know what type of car , model & year to ensure we quote on correct size for vehicle.
195/50R15 Adrenalin RE001 are on special until the end of this month at $145.00 less $5.00 if you are a member of the RAA. This includes fitting and balancing.
There is also a $2.50/tyre scrap levy if there are any old tyres to be disposed of.
Thanks Kevin"

not a bad price i guess. anyone know of the km of relatively normal driving you can get out of them ?

would -2.5 camber be too much for street usage for these tyres? as they are exp (to me anyway)

ps: i do take corners quite quickly

RobertoX
27th August 2008, 11:59 PM
if the tyre wears evenly then youve found what camber best suits your budget

johnny_08
28th August 2008, 12:05 AM
well my last tyres were crappy bob jane things with max camber ( -4 or somethin close to) and they seemed fine after a long while and 1 rotation on the front

MountainRunner
28th August 2008, 08:53 AM
i noticed with -2.5 id drive around then feel the tire and i chould feel the camber wear then after a track day the tire was dead even! so if the car gets trashed once in a while it should be ok :P

Konakid
28th August 2008, 04:46 PM
^^Yeah boy!

To find out how much camber you need, go for a hard hills runs and take a temp sensor gun with you, measure the tyre at the inner, middle and outer, if the outer edge is hotter than the inner then you need more camber. If its colder then you need less camber.

Damn, I've been thinking for ages now that I wanted 15s, but that photo makes me think I want some 14s. What's the offset on those wheels, if you please? And have you got the same size on the front? I'd appreciate it if you could put up another pic or two, or even PM me with a couple, so as not to completely hijack this thread. heh

Thanks.

It's called an a-symetrical tyre. It means that one side has to stay on the inside, and the other outside (clearly labelled on the tyre sidewall). There is no disadvantage to this. Especially considering most of Bridestone's range are making a-symetrical tyres. So are Pirreli and Yokohama. Deffinitly the best tyre for 14's with out going semi slick.

Hardly Japans finest if they're made in Adelaide though surely?? Aren't out of rounders made in Adelaide too? I had a look at some and the finish seemed pretty poor, just a lot more dags around the molds etc. How do they drive??

I totaly agree i have some jap made adrenalins and the finish is perfect. And the local made ones seem to b crap. I run 195 50 15s adrenalins on the rear of my drift car and i used 2 sets of jap made and they were perfect i wore them till the were zero. Then i ran adelaide made pair and 2 laps in from brand new they delamanated totaly different tyre jdm - adm. But at $110 for 195 50 15
and $100 for 185 60 14 you carnt go wrong good grip
