I thought they weighed less, I seem to recall my old 71 had 850 on the rego sticker :S

I have owned two sprinters one had a 900kg weight and my current one has 1250kg on the rego sticker, the weigh-bridge said 990 before i lightened it so unfortunetly its not a very accurate number.

That sucks that it says 1250kg on the rego sticker, in NSW that'd mean its in the next bracket and you pay more for rego, is it the same for you?

What do you know, I just happen to have my rego papers here at the computer, says 960kgs but its an auto AE71 (well...was). I doubt there'd be much difference between auto and manual, but I'd say it weighs in somewhere between 900 and 1000.

Just looked up NSW, it'd actually be 2 brackets up and you'd pay $270 odd instead of $220. I think Victoria might have a different system though.
