I'm slowly restoring an ex-Bob Holden Group A Corolla Sprinter and I'm struggling to find any photo's or records of the car at events other than Bathurst.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with photos, entry lists, reports or results from the ATCC in 1990 & 1991.

A member of another forum has sent me a complete list of results for 1990 & 1991. It appears that my car nearly always ran #76 in that period. All i need now is some photos, please!

Wow, great pics Jonny!

I have the 1992 Bathurst on my machine, I'm pretty sure #76 was still an AE86 (I shudder when the call the Sprinter a Corolla, lol). There were about 4 or 5 86s in that year, a number of AE82s and AE92s to go with, IIRC. I'll have to watch it again to spot them :)

What happened to all these sprinters, would be great to track them down.

I have one, TerryO has one, a guy down south has another, all three of these are under restoration for racing in Historic Group A. There's one on display at the National Motor Racing Museum in Bathurst and i have no idea where the others are. :(

It would be really cool to own one of the original Coupes,
it would go really well right next to my replica one in the garage.

but i suppose mine is close enough to the real thing and still gets used in anger :(

Ben.

I think the author mixed up my car with TerryO's car, they were both owned by Bob Holden at the time. Bob usually drove Terry's car and rented mine out. My car has done 6 Bathurst 1000s and I think Terry's car has done 10 Bathursts!!!! & at least 1 Spa 24 hour race!

All pictures are off the internet somewhere, if you look hard over time. I just right click and save when I find some. But some of them are from the year books.
