Ive had a real sore throat since about Tuesday this week, its been getting worse everyday.
I just thought it was just a normal sore throat, i had a look in a mirror today at my throat, its really red with white spots on it.
Its gotten worse tonight, really painfull, my throat fills up with saliva in around 20seconds and i cant sleep.
So i jumped on here been searching symptoms to see what it is.

Turns out i pretty much have all the symptoms of Epiglottitis, here is a quick summary.
Epiglottitis is inflammation of the epiglottis - the flap that sits at the base of the tongue, which keeps food from going into the trachea (windpipe). Due to its place in the airway, swelling of this structure can interfere with breathing and constitutes a medical emergency. The infection can cause the epiglottis to either obstruct or completely close off the windpipe.
Epiglottitis typically affects children, and is associated with fever, difficulty swallowing, drooling, and stridor. It is important to note however that since the introduction of the Hemophilus infuenzae vaccination in many Western countries (including th UK), the disease is becoming relatively more common in adults. The child often appears acutely ill, anxious, and has very quiet shallow breathing with the head held forward, insisting on sitting up in bed. The early symptoms are insidious but rapidly progressive, and swelling of the throat may lead to cyanosis and asphyxiation.[citation needed] Cases in adults are most typically seen amongst abusers of crack cocaine and have a more subacute presentation. I know this is the totally wrong place to be even talking about this but, they make it out to be really serious, i dont know weather it comes on quick, i started jogging again this week the first time since the start of the year.
And one more thing, im broke, i recently got sacked from my job, i have around $3 in my bank account and dont have medi-care or anything.
Do you have to pay at public hospitals?
