does anyone know were to buy the quafie quick racks from in Melbourne or in Australia for that matter ???

my steering rack has 4mm of play in it each side so i might aswell upgrade.... my car gets a little scary to drive atm hahah

quick rack wont fix that.

when you buy one, you only get the internals. the actually rack and pinion. you use your old housings/bearing/bushings.

buy it from palmside in NZ theyre the quaife distributors for our region. they usually have it in stock, takes about a week to get it.

They delivered mine in 3 days. Took me 3 months to fit it. Ironic isn't it.

ahh my rack still needs a rebuild :(

You fitted it that quick? Mine's been sitting in the shed for 6 months unfitted :D

Sam, fit the quickrack, internal bush and new rack ends. That should bring it up to new and will cost around $500.
