thank you for your comments - brake booster has been repainted and brake master re-sleeved and new fluid added since pic taken 6months ago. Has been in storage since. Exhaust manifold and heat shield has been ceramic coated, and distributor re-build. New battery fitted. If you are not interested in buying please keep your comments to yourself. I resisted advertising on AE86DC to avoid comments such as this.

I'm interested in seeing of the interior is as clean as the exterior.
Ignore the haters, you'll get them no matter what.
Very reasonable asking price if the car is very clean and pulls hard.

Okay, we can all see it's a nice looking example of a Trueno, no need to post saying so. This isn't a build thread.

I personally purchaced this trueno in japan on behalf of peter who wanted the best example of a trueno i could find
this car is immaculate in every aspect, and peter has only made it better
a very fussy man when it comes to his car's his eyes lit up when he first saw it
this car never had an lsd so it is what it is a real gem
would suit a very very fussy person you wont fault it

IIRC the "restoration" was a few trim panels being replaced. Car also has no LSD as been said, but LSD isn't just for skids, also for better handling... And no record of the timing belt and water pump being replaced - which is the first thing that should be done on any import when it is imported. Air con needs seeing to as well IIRC.

i think the idea of mentioning no LSD it is unlikely to have been thrashed/drifted. regardless your post is exactly the type of thing that doesnt need to be in this/any for sale thread. contact the owner if you have questions.

When I first advertised this car on DC I said I was reluctant because there was an element of the community who had an opinion on just about anything. Yestersday I accepted a deposit so the car is sold. It was from someone who was not a tyre kicker and took the time to come out and I went over in detail all the things I had done with the car as part of the restoration. He is happy as he wanted an original as possible car and I am happy it is going to a good home.

man i was checkn that evo out myself too 4 a family car!... i own a r34 but its so expenisive on parts especially if i wanted to build a street drift car..
. so lately been searcn 4 ae86's and s13's.
i would like an evo 9 but they just cost way dam too much!:( so the tommy makinen was like the next best thing 4 what it was worth?.. not sure on how they perform though??
