Just trying to confirm the thread for the bleeders on JDM rear calipers.

Reading its M7x1, anyone confirm?

Yep, M7x1.0. Same as USDM calipers.

Ta, need to get some speed bleeders for them. Bleeding both front and rears at the same time on the pedal box is a PITA.

Have you looked at the Earls 'Solo-Bleed'?

I've been considering them instead of the Russel/SpeedBleeder ones, as they have a sealant that wears out after a few bleeds. Unlike the Earls design. I had an unused set of 4 Russel ones I sold because of this, but never bothered to get the earls ones..

The sealant on the threads? That shouldnt matter at all, the bleeder seats down against an internal convex seat, which does the sealing. The sealant is merely there so that you dont get any blowby of brake fluid via the threads (and suck in any air in reverse)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. That's what I meant, the sealant wears out and causes it to suck in air past the threads when trying to bleed.

Yeah, that will always be a problem. Will even be a problem with the Earls type, especially if you are vac bleeding.

Haha that is an awesome way to bleed brakes! Looks like some sort of futuristic space bong though...

Heh, it actually sucks a whole bunch of air through the thread, which is why the other ones have sealant. Bit annoying, but it still works all the same.
