16 or 20v pulleys

I've been trying to research 20 conversions into ae71 and some Ive read mention changing to 16v water pump, alternator and crank pulleys, where some make no mention of it. just wondering what the pros and cons of both are? Is it more of a wiring issue, or a case of 16v water pump outlet being better, but not lining up with 20v pulleys? I've tried to search for answers, but havn't had much luck.

the pulley must match the pump. The only advantage of the rwd pump is you can put a mechanical fan on it and the only disadvantage is that there is a small difference in the casting so it won't seal against the front covers.
