Just wondering what needs to be done to bolt up a w58 to a 4age. I know that you need the bell housing, just wondering where to get one from? And also what is a trd clutch rated to? Cheers

there are a few places that sell bell-housing. Me personally I am working out the possibility of making an adapter plate

and whatever you do don't buy Dellows

I've used a dellow one before, and to be honest it did what it needed to do ie. it allowed me to bolt my gearbox to my engine and allowed me to drive it without any problems. Depending on the day, you get some good and some not so good ones from dellow, but ultimately they work. Whilst they aren't as good looking as a niteparts they are locally produced, have warranty and all that. Having said that, niteparts bells stand out and are far superior products and look factory. Niteparts are NZ based.

If you are planning on using a GZE clutch / flywheel, be sure to ask whoever you get it from wether the GZE clutch setup will fit as allot of the products out there don't have enough clearance.

In my case i got the bell as a conversion, and it came with a custom tailshaft + gearbox mount, but those are other things you have to look into.

they must of updated their design as their box used to hold the gearbox on a severe angle
