I'm getting an exhaust made for my NA Smallport Corolla this week, just wanting to know whether I should go 2" or 2 1/4" from the extractors back? I have 4-2-1 equal length mild steel extractors and I'll be going steel exhaust too.

I'm going to have a flange plate before the diff so I can bolt up an over diff, quiet muffled tail section or I can bolt up a straight through, under diff, tail section that finishes in twin angled, flutes protruding past the rear of the car, which brings me to my next question, what diameter pipes should I run for the twin rear tips? ...and does anyone have any pictures they can chuck up in here of various flutes/drift pipes/blast pipes on corollas?

Cheers, Kurt.

2 1/4" is the best size.
it provides excellant flow and headroom for future mods.

a simple design is best, least amount of bends etc

rear muffler/twin tips is up to you. fuck chuck a couple of 5" cannons off the back of it if you reckon it looks good.

Thanks or the info mate, I probably won't be upgrading this engine though as I have a 3sge to put in eventually.

Yeah it's all personal opinion regarding the tips but I was more looking for people to post up some pictures of some.

Yes exactly what I wanted, although I want mine slightly different but thanks for posting mate!

I think I'm gonna go twin 1.5" for the tips as well.
