Anyone got any pictures or can describe where the wires should be found to connect to the reverse switch on the gearbox. One of the bullet connections have snapped off so it does need to be replaced but when I have had a look down there I can't see any wires that would connect to it.
Also does anyone know if a ball bearing fell out of there's when they undid it? Also if a switch out of a corona will work?

The reverse light wires are in the big connector clipped onto the firewall. They will be red/black, red/blue wires. There is a ball bearing behind the switch so it may have got lost. Not sure if a Corona has the same switch but its possible.
This catalogue may help, http://www.tridon.com.au/Products/Product.aspx?SG=8&S=35&G=483&P=2016

Anyone know if the ball bearing is important? The thread fits on the one out of the corona fits however the button on it is longer. Was just going to leave the ballbearing out, which makes it the same length.

Kinda important, the ball bearing keeps the divot on the shift rod which triggers the switch from breaking/catching the switch. There should be plenty of T50's, get another switch out of one.
