Bonnet latch not latching?

My bonnet latch doesn't appear to be latching so well. I loosened the 3 bolts and adjusted it up a bit further, and then lost complete interest in it.

I know it sounds retarded - is there anything on the latch that needs lubricating/checking? Or do i just need another one?

Maybe just grease up the spring? I know on my parents garage door you have to or it won't work. I like my logic.

ahhh, typical trueno problem

die-grind out the holes on the latch bracket. not the brace on the rad support, the latch itself. I die-grinded mine 5mm overall and moved it about till it was perfect. Loctite that shit on and its good to go.

Failing that, is the bonnet spaced up at the back? on my j-blood bonnet i spaced it a tiny bit, which didn't help...
