Hey All , so on the quest to get my ke70 dumped as i have a few sets of rear springs and adj coilovers in the front.
ATM im sitting at 80mm from crossmember to ground. just hits exhaust on speedhump's if going super slow and mad angle haha
have been thinking about making another exhaust to go along the tunnel...... but just thinking about clearance issues with t/shaft
anyone got pic's or is this a common thing to do ? lol
note: yes i know the legal limit a car has to be
cheers Nichy

make out of rhs to go next to chassis rail or if you are making your own, heat it up and bash into an oval.
solid mount to chassis for maximum effect
good mate of mine went RHS exhaust on his sr20 mx73 and it had heaps of clearance and didnt sound half bad!

oval would be better for flow, get your exhuast tucked right up near the floor, my ke is decked(was lower cause of 13's) and my trailing arm mounts hit anything before exhuast did

hammer it and you will most probably adversely affect the flow,
if you tuck it up as close to the floor pan as you can, then run it up as close to the tail shaft as you can, you can actually get the exhaust sitting above the bottom of the rails , i ran a string line underneath, across the car as a guide and it can be done no worries.

why would the exhaust be the lowest point in the car? there's heaps of room for something under there

3" system and still not the lowest point

Exh in tunnel = hot transmission. Best to make heat shields or atleast wrap it.
