Hey guys,

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, have been trying to search it in the forums and google to little avail. I've been trying to source these bearings locally, I've found a full rebuild kit over in the states http://yhst-99618682857744.stores.yahoo.net/86reendrekit.html. But I thought I must be able to get all of these from a local supplier

forgot to mention T-series with discs

If I've been an arse and not searched hard enough feel free to flame.

Thanks
Kimbo

Although i dont know the number off the top of my head the part number could be stamped on the bearing, take this number to a bearing place and get them to match it.

JDM Zenki im pretty sure share the same smaller bearings at local delivered T-18 Corolla's!!

Would I be able to just get all the part numbers from
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1983_TOYOTA_COROLLA_TE71-ECMZF_4102.html

Or in the long run I may just be better off ordering the kit from cabe toyota

Didnt have the disk brake info when i posted.

I know someone who replace their larger bearings once. Approx $300 later.

Best source the part number and ask Jesse Streeter or anyone else who can get Jap parts.

I wanna do the carrier bearings and pinion bearings, I'm think the backlash is set too tight, getting a clunking under acceleration and it also sounds like the clutch plates are shot. constant grinding noise, not crunching but sound dry I spose (not dry plenty of oil)

This post may be useless to you but others may benefit from later searches.

T-18 drum rear, axle/wheel bearings 2887 powerdrive wheel bearing kit.

Seal 52 65 9
Bearing OD 72, ID 35
Retainer OD 52, ID 35

I'll throw up carrier and pinion specs if I find that reciept.

Did some digging, found a reciept.

Appears as though carrier is...

Set 45 Timken LM501349/501310, as there's two of those sets on my reciept (by set I think it refers to cup & cone)

And Pinion...

Set 67 Timken HM88649/88610

Set 309 Timken M86649/88610
