ive had to unblock my idle jet twice in the last few months, cause i was running the tank on E to much.it would idle when the choke is on, warm up then choke would turn off then it would die but other wise drive fine. getting to the jet is a bit of a pain, plug colour will tell u

well they should be browny/white colour. if the black wouldnt be a blocked idle jet.if they pretty white id say more than likey blocked,

Try spraying water or carby cleaner at the base of the carb and intake manifold and if the rev's change you will have an air leak, same thing just happened to my corolla with 4afc in it carb had a huge air leak and wouldn't idle, resealed it and runs fine now.

Ok so it's not my idle jet and I don't have any leaks! So it's sprinter 1 Jake 0

there is a thread on toymods about this,

http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-conversions/12658-fixing-your-stalling-4a-c-engine.html

see if that is your problem. good luck
