ke70 wagon diff?

hey guys, got a 4age ae71 track car and got bored of it so wanna put all running gear into my ke70 wagon... wanna know if the tail shaft will bolt upto the wagons diff? cheers

different diffs dude. your AE71 sedan diff is a Borg Warner (provided you havent changed that too) and your KE70 wagon should have an S-series diff. same as an ADM AE86. so short answer is no. probably easiest to just get a custom one made up.

what he said but reversed, ke70 wagon has a borg warner and ae71 sedan has the s series. i have not tried but i guess you might be able to use half the of tail shaft from one to suit the other?

uhh no.

AE71 sedan have a borg warner diff, as do ae71 wagons.

ae86 and ke70 panelvans came with an S series

easiest thing to do is jump under the car and check the tag dude. or even check if your tailshaft bolts line up.

My KE70 Wagon has a borg warner also.
You can see the "Borg Warner" stamp on the top side of the nose of the diff.
Your ae71 tailshaft will work.
Its the 2 door Pano's that have an "S" series.

If the diff has a removable backing plate, its a borg warner.

Can you use the ae71 T50 gearbox mount on a ke70 4A - T50 conversion?
Mine is a custome bodgey one is all, just wanted to get a nice non bodge one?
