how do you do it? I've removed all the screws on the dash surround but it still won't come out. Is there a trick to it or do I have to remove the whole dash and cluster?

if its for a ke70 are you talking about that whole black piece that is like around the old radio and goes over the forced air vents and around the cluster?

if its that part; undo all the screws then give it a nice tug down and towards yourself and it should free up. then you just have to massage it over the steering wheel and your out.

Pull off the wiper and headlight dials. There's a nut behind each of them that holds the cluster surround in.

wot i do in the ke70 is unscrew 1 screw on each side of the dash (hav 2 open the doors 2 c them)
then open the glovebox and on the top inside is 3 more screws take them out as well
take off the radio knobs and nuts then u should get enough give in the corner 2 slide the dash surrounds out

u can get it out just by pulling the christ out of it but theres every possability that it will eventually crack
