I have heard of it in a budget build, the head volumes are very similar

few friends have done the swap, it works. theoretically, the piston is prone to hot spots and stuff (pinging/detonantion). and they combatted that with higher flowing 7mgte injectors.
theyve been putting around for past few years as well. should be cool.

plenty of ppl have done it, and, just from looking, it should be fine. the "dome" on a 101 st 20v piston is about the same as a small port. obviously fly cuts are different on the intake side but it will work for sure unless something goes wrong.
you can buy a small port pistons and ring set new non oem for like $200 and even less.

I completely agree with the above, I just fail to see the point. Get a thinner gasket or shave the head if you want more compression.

^^exactly
it's just a compression bump. you can get similar results with thin HG, shaved head/block.
i wouldnt do it unless i happened to have a 20v block kicking around, or got it for cheap to save the effort/$$ on getting another block to similar spec.
