Hey guys, just wandering what the law is on Roof lining in vehicles, I have a ke70 and im looking at removing the roof lining and just spraying the roof and leaving it as is..
If anyone could shed light on the subject id appreciate it greatly.

yes, you can go to gaol for it
why do you want to remove it?
if its stock leave it
if you want to remove it to reduce weight or something, then im sure plenty more things on the car will be illegal before not having roof liner

Mine is removed and passed rego and engineers cert, usually the police have other things to look at such as wheels and ride height to even think about looking inside.
Just remember the roof gets hotter without the liner

If it comes factory on the car and you remove it, illegal, unless engineered.
