View Full Version : ZE tensioner for bigger pulley?

What do you guys use as a tensioner when using a nevo crank pulley or the like? the stock tensioner is too close to the crank pulley and chews belts.

I used a hyundai EP016 (nuline part number) pulley. Go to an auto shop that stocks nuline products and get them to order that pulley. I used it with a 178mm crank pulley.

That doesnt fit at all, the internal hole diameter is to big and the bearing is so wide that only a bit of thread sticks out to screw the nut on.
So still on the hunt.

That fitted mine perfect, and i still had plenty of thread to bolt it down. The internal diameter was the same size as my standard tensioner. Make sure you didn't find the EP015 (i think) part as they are what you might be confused with...

go get a 4ag timing belt idler, cut the tabs off (optional haha) and flip it around. you have yourself a perfect idler.
