Hanging Rock Car Show 2012 - 12th Feb 2012

Hi guys

This might be of interest to a few of you.. its on this Sunday 12th Feb and is the biggest car show in Victoria, open to cars 25+ years old.

We usually get pretty good representation through TCCAV/Toymods/rollaclub, would be great to see a few of you guys there as well. Its an early start and a long day so mightn't suit every one, but hopefully one or three of you can come.

Cruise to the event will depart from the BP northbound at Calder Park, leaving 7.30am sharp! It is always packed out the front as it's the meeting spot for every club going up there, so it has been suggested we meet around the back in the truck parking area.

Meet there from 7.00am if you are going to be wanting fuel for your car, or coffee for yourself.

We will leave as a group at 7.30am SHARP! This means we are leaving at 7.30am. Not thinking about going to get a coffee or fuel!

Stick together as a group, and just after we turn off the freeway we should stop for a regroup and collect everyone to make it easier for entry as a group.

If we get separated tell the organising guys you are part of a group and head for the oval.

NE group pre-meet up point - McDonalds Eltham 6am for a 6.30am departure. Cruise to BP Calder to meet rest of the group.

Eltham Maccas meet point 6am for 6.30am departure

Calder BP meet point (out the back in the truck area) 7am for 7.30am departure. We will leave at 7.30am but will probably be slowish up the freeway, so if you miss us you should catch us.

Not sure if any of you made it out there.. two 86's there - one rotary powered monster, and another 4age powered one that was with us.

Thanks to everyone who did come, we won the Best Club award and that is awesome at a show that isn't really Jap oriented!

If you look at the big photo of the cars the TCCA cars are the closest row to the camera from the caravan on the left side all the way around to the silver celica on the right.
We had a massive representation at this show, but would love even more there with us next year. maybe we can fill two rows!!
