TRD 0.5mm head gasket

Hi there....anyone here use the TRD 0.5mm head gasket???.......anyone had problems with it>?

or you guys recommend 0.8 instead

John. i remember meeting you once before near that garage cafe and we talked about headgaskets... i thought you used a 0.5mm in your car ?

as for 0.5, i have used one for a year and never any problems.

Have used 0.5 on my car for 3+ yrs. With the head skimmed to clean it up and 8.35mm lift cams, the motor is now interfernce (bigport motor).
Not a major issue you just need to be awear of it and change timing belt which are that cheap it's a no brainer.

It is now handling turbo no issue as well.

coz i just went on dyno and get my car tune....we think the gasket blew.....water over flow from the overflow bottle, with a oil water mix substances.....so yeh tomoro we'll pull the head off and have a look....coz the gasket only one the car for just around a year.
