S14 SR20DE Question

Hey guys,

I'm helping a mate do his S14 SR20DE into his 1600.
It's running a factory ecu and loom.

The first time we started it it revved up perfect.
Tonight we started it but has a 2400rpm limiter (fuel cut)

I'm fairly certain it is in a fail safe mode but can't find the problem.
I have switched AFM, CAS, O2, tested the TPS with no luck.

It has no diagnostic plug

Any ideas?

does it just not rev any more or does it hunt around when u hold the throttle wide open?

limp home mode would mean that the AFM would have to be unplugged and it would idle and only just run properly but not much more

Na it revs to 2400rpm clean, idles perfect too. It's a hell headache...
