oil gauge not working

hello.

the oil gauge in my aw11 just stopped working this morning, needle never moved when i started the car.

i got a bit parranoid so i checked my oil, and its all good.

anywhoo, im just wondering what has stopped it from working as my voltage gauge and water temp etc all still work.

any ideas people ??

the oil light does not come on, the gauge just flat out doesnt work.

replace the oil pressure sender? like $20 from supercheap

I'd check the wire that connects to the oil pressure sender. They build up gunk around them over time and might also work themselves loose. If this doesn't solve the problem, I'd do as rthy said and buy a new oil pressure sender.
