Hi All

Been flat out lately and can't see things changing for quite a while yet.

Have had a White Hatch that i imported a couple of containers ago and had earmarked to turn into my fun/track car.

Came in already with a 7 point cage, 2 Recaro fixed back seats , deap dished steering wheel, adjustable castor rods, etc etc

Not much has happen so far other than swapping over the rear diff ( 4.7 TRD 2 way LSD disc rear end), Rear TRD coil over setup, adjustable lateral bar and removing the engine/ gearbox for the impending 3SG SXE-10 Beams engine running 20V black top quads, HKS exstractors, ORC clutch , 6 speed gearbox and of coarse an Adaptronic ECU setup.

The front setup is still to be done, it will be running Willwood Calipers setup off my 4AGTE car , coil overs with new HTS 112 adjustable shock inserts and cusco camber tops.

The bit that i am going to post up tonight is the wheels in which i will be running. Weds Albino custom made 15 x 8.5 -10 ( thanks Terry) with Bridgestone Potenza Re002 205/50/15 tyres .

Terry will also be doing so minor adjustments to the rear arches in the coming weeks so will show the updates / improvements as you can image the wheels don't fit under the stretched standard arches.

Anyway enough shit for now.

Couple pics of the wheels for all to drool over

Sounds good! What are you building it to do or will it be an all rounder? I am sure you have plenty of goody's to make a few good cars :)

Also got the caliper brackets :) Thanks!

Hi

I am building it for laps , not drift at all. I just want to get out and have a bit of fun and who knows where i will end up with it in the future.

Sounds great, can't wait to see the progress on fitting the 6-speed.
Have you looked into any other ecu's for comparison, or Adaptronic just easier. Saw a tuned Beams with a Vipec (spelling?) last night, retaining the dual vvti.

Hi

No the adaptronic is just easier and i know it works. I have an adaptronic on my 4AGTE setup in my other car and works great. Also have Anthony ( Kaizen Garage) up here to sort it out when required.

Some average pics of the car before with smaller Albino wheels on it.

Will get some more of the car shortly weather permitting to get it out.

Are those engine mounts just a flat plate in the middle? No gussets for support, cause they don't look like very good quality at all.

Looks like its 6mm plate, so itll be strong enough. But yeah gussets would of made it look "finished" nice and tidy though.

Anthony

Yeah plenty strong enough, don't worry. These are the prototypes, the production brackets are laser cut and include gusseting to keep everyone happy. :)

Cool then. How much for a set Anthony?

I'm just waiting on the last couple of prices from suppliers then I'll list the kit price in the Kaizen Garage section along with a couple of other items to make this conversion a lot easier.

Nice brackets, that's a lot closer to how my production ones are done. You'll prob find your engine number isn't legal and your LHS bracket fouls the AC compressor but I guess everyone's priorities are different. That's the problem with mass producing anything like that - keeping all the camps happy.

Build it so it works, prove it works, and then no can say shit.
