Update for me is this weekend i got my trd 2way 4.77 centre installed along with some fresh kouki axles :) making the only part on my car non kouki is the interior which i think i like better anway :)

I went for a drive down the road to test this diff out and found it to be very nice and quiet and working like a trooper, love the 4.77 too made a considerable difference :)

I also have a razorback ecu on the way to replace my HKS pot style one, should see a massive improvement in drivability, fuel economy, acceleration and out right power if i can get the ECU working ok :)

OK so stage one completed. The 86 is complied and just have to go pay rego :)

Stage two commencing tonight, i am removing engine, making new loom for the razorback ecu, installing some kelford cam shafts i purchased (288 and 274) and just doing a general tidy up.

Then its off to dyno to squeeze what i can out of this engine.

yea money is the problem at the moment adam, worry about them once i have it back together.

Did some hours tonight, removed everything bar oil pump, went over whole engine with degreaser and brush, primered and high temp paint the block.
Sandblasted all engine mounts, quads, etc etc and painted some of it.

Why i have the sump off i checked the underside of the pistons which confirmed they are ca18 which means the block has been bored to 83mm :) Good news for me

Heres just a couple of pics, its ready for re assembly now

beer and meat are the tits

ok so been a little busy on this, had an ablsolute dog of a time getting these cams degree'd in, kept on persisting and researching and got there in the end. Im 100% sure they are right where they should be according to kelford, not even sure if i will play with them on the dyno anymore (actually intake cam maxed out 2deg prior to getting it to where it had to be so cant move it far lol)

Engine is back together and ready for installation after i customize the loom to suit the razorback and tidy it up a bit.

I also want to give the engine bay a good clean and install my lock spacer. Enough talk heres some pics

engines is all back in, had some fun starting it managed to install cam gears upside down although still dialed them in correctly, just means the timing marks are on intake stroke not compression.

Also bought a innovate mtx-l wideband 02 sensor and have tuned the fuel map on the razor back best i can, put a little bit of timing into it but still more to do when i have a way of testing for knock.

Engine is very different to drive now seems to make a fair amount more power, cams are nice size added with the 4.7 there is no dull spot at any rpm in any gear hardly. Perfect match really.

Also installed the roll cage properly and did heaps of other jobs

Heres a pic bomb from the last week
