Hey guys, about to put xt130 LCAs in my RA65 and i need to either move the lock stops or completely get rid of them.

Is there any reason to keep them? Do they just stop the wheels hitting the chasis, as im running ma61 wheels this might not matter. Or is it something more important like not letting the rack over extend? Only running standard knuckles, power steering rack.

Move or remove?

Thanks

Just cut them off, not needed at all in your setup.

he's right, the corona has a steering box which needs a stopper, with a rack and pinion it's the rack that limits things

The stock RA65 LCAs and knuckles use lock stops though, should of mentioned that

that's weird, I see no reason why they need them

maybe it is just so the stock wheels dont hit the chasis, running ma61s so shouldnt be a problem now

when you get to full lock be careful to no lean on it to much.

i had a reconditioned rack and in an attempt to extend a slide i killed an internal seal in my rack and fucked it.
but then again i had shorter arms and JIC extra lock jzx81 tie rods in my ma61.

Okay ill just run it without the stops and see how it goes, not running any lock mods yet
