Its with regret (and there will be when its gone) that I reluctantly put my KE70 up for sale :(
Had this for over a year now, great lil car, just don't need it as I need something to cart stuff around in.
Has a bigport 4age with jdm orange label ecu, jdm water & belt setup & inlet manifold, 4-2-1 extractors into 2.25" zorst, runs and excel radiator with twin thermo fans, has gear reduction smallport starter motor for harder cranking :)
Engine had a full rebuild/recon 8,000kms ago approx featuring:
New pistons, recon ported head, new rod bolts, resized conrods, bored & decked block, reground crank, new water pump.
Gearbox also had a major rebuild with new bearings & synchros, new 1-2 hub, new h/duty clutch & shifter rebush kit also installed
Diff is an auto KE70 open diff which is quiet as with newish shoes & wheel cylinders.
Front struts are AE86 with xt130 steering arms & lca's rebushed and balljointed with close to stock height approx 5kg front springs, and adm front brakes.
Rear has around 3.5kg stockish height springs with local gas shocks.
Car rolls on 14" silver painted steel mx32 cressida rims with chrome nuts and stainless centre caps running 185/60r14 & 195/60r14 tyres (fronts near new)
Has in-boot 2lt surge tank and vl high pressure & facet low pressure pumps.
Body and paint are pretty good really, has a few smallish dings here and there, some scratches, and also a SMALL amount of rust, but is the factory white paint still with the gold pinstripe and I get compliments all the time about how tidy & stock it looks :D
Interior is factory grey, seats and carpet are great, couple of cracks in crashpad, has an AE71 CSX tacho dash.
Just hung 3 months rego on it.
Can't think of too much else to say bout it atm, except that I've enjoyed this thing immensely, have treated it very well with oil changes and letting it warm up before exploring above 3000 rpm on the tacho and using large throttle inputs, I have also NEVER hit the rev limiter NOR clutch kicked it NOR done any hills runs, just basically drove it to & from work.
I want $FIRM for it otherwise I won't part with it, couldn't be built for this amount anyway, and I have no huge screaming urgent need for the money.
Located in ADL S.A. interstate purchasers don't even bother to ask if it will make the journey home, just book your plane ticket and come and get it, economy is round the 9l/100kms city so it wouldn't even cost that much in fuel.
