interchangeable dizzies?

Hi!, sorry if this has been asked before, i cant seem to find an answer in the search engine. (possible retardation on my behalf!!)
Is it possible to swap bigport and smallport dizzies? (i need one for a smallport and i keep coming across bigport ones at good prices!)
any help would be greatly appreciated :))

small port is 4 wire
bigport is 3 wire

ECU specific bigport/smallport.

As said, no they are not interchangeable.

Essentially there are two types of sensors in 4AGEs (incl. 20V and ZE, both dizzy and CAS).

Bigport - as stated has a 3wire plug. Inside has a 4 tooth wheel and a 24 tooth wheel
Smallport and 20V - 4 wire. Inside has a 1 tooth wheel with 2 pickups and a 24 tooth wheel

ZE CAS is just a dizzy without the rotor button and contacts for leads.
