Harro, thought i would make a thread for my new and not really improved AE71 skids car.
My old ke70 was beaten and chassis was bent n rusted :steamer:

so I finally decided to swap everything in my clean shell thats been chilling in the backyard since 09.

How life for the car started after it was stripped down a bit. I had alot of ideas of different motors while doing the shell swap but thought, eh its running fine, i only really drive it at mallala so whats the point. i can still upgrade it later if i decide to.

one rear guard had rust so for a quick easy repair we cut them off and pop rivited on RA60 front arches.

almost done, the front light holders are actually TE gemini which fit almost perfect to ae71s (which had different front panels to ke70s)

Front end meaning body or suspension? its just some random indicators we had in the shed mounted between the lights and some plastic garden mesh as a grill lol.

hmmm no not really :( I didnt really expect it to as not much has really changed. alot more weight taken out of it so it should be better, but to little to really notice i guess.

yeah, it has flat front bonnet, gaurds, bumper and beaver panel, and yeah just bolted gemi lights up, the top inside hole is the original for AE lights, just had to re drill the others. Alot easier than fitting KE lights, as there mounting bolts are closer in, and didnt really wanna work because of the AE have a bigger gaping hole.
