can i trial fit these on my car? i would rather these than my 61 wheels with 25mm spacers. would you swap for a set of 61 wheels and some some 15" meshies? think they are 15x7 +25.
pm me

resol
17th June 2009, 08:32 PM
yeh we can test fit.

but i already sourced some 14x8's and some 14x7's that MIGHT fit. but either way i need really low offset wheels so not keen on +25 offset.

by how much did these not clear the s13 brakes? Are we talking like a 5mm slip on spacer for clearance?

i only checked the front brakes, i have no idea if they do/dont clear the rears.

approx 4mm for ca brakes (so thats a 5mm spacer or bigger)
approx 8mm for SR brakes (" " " )

but the stock wheel studs arent not long enough for these wheels to fit on still, they use the cone type wheel nut. i got a quote for $50 per wheel to machine the back face out but i did not want to go down this route, and im not 100% that it is safe to do so.

i did try to get longer studs but you cant get them in australia, called everyone in the book. studs would have to be sourced from japan, and since i no longer have a car theres no point in me doing this....

the wheels are still very much for sale, and still very much brand new and unused.

i work for repco, we can get in massively long studs that you chop down to your prefered size, they are designed for race cars running crazy wheels. :sunnies: i'll look into how much they are and i'll pm you next week.

i checked with repco, and they had nothing listed with the right shoulder height and knurl diameter....

these wheels are still very much for sale.
