hey guys i live in melbourne and i have a 4agze in my adm ae86 just wondering if someone could tell me what would need to be done to engineer that motor to the car.

brakes mainly, and money, plus all the other usual safety stuff, give an engineer a call and he can email you a list of required adr's

Ben, by far the best way is to go and have a chat with an engineer. You can get a list of them from the Vicroads website (or call them and they can send it out). You can read ADRs til the cows come home, but still it is the engineer's decision.

Main points tend to be:
- Emissions. Must run stock computer and no mods that will adversely effect emissions
- Brakes. Must pass a brake test. Stock brakes with good pads may pass, an upgrade is a smart move anyway.
- General non-dodginess of the car.

But again, go and have a chat with an engineer and they will run you through it. It'll probably end up costing near $1000 by the time you're done.
